Jake Gibson
Jake’s passion for bikes began at an early age. At just 2 years old, he was already riding a balance bike, progressing to a pedal bike by the age of 3. By the time he turned 4, Jake was riding a motorized quad bike and had started learning on a CRF50. At 6, he transitioned to BMX riding and began racing, which he pursued for a couple of years before returning to his first love—motorbikes.

Starting with ride park days, Jake steadily developed his skills on a KTM 65, focusing on mastering control and technique. His determination and natural talent eventually led him to racing. Since beginning his racing journey in 2021, Jake has trained with R31 for three years, continually building his confidence and refining his abilities.

Jake’s dedication has resulted in numerous accomplishments. In 2024, he claimed the Canberra Motorcycle Club MX Championship in the 85cc Big Wheel class and, along with his three-person team, won the Tanta Express Teams Race in Bega. In 2023, he achieved the Canberra Motorcycle Club Dirt Track Championship on his 65cc and secured 3rd place in the 85cc category.

As Jake looks forward to 2025, he has set ambitious goals, including finishing in the top 5 of both the NSW State Titles and the East Coast Series. Alongside these competitive aspirations, Jake remains focused on improving his skills, gaining experience, and continuing to excel in the sport he loves.
